Privacy Policy for Bricks Breaker RPG

WhimBear Studios Ltd (“we”, “us” or “our”) respects the privacy of users of Bricks Breaker RPG (“the Game”, “Application”, “you” or “your”). This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected, how it is used, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Game or its online features.

COLLECTION OF YOUR INFORMATION

The information collected depends on the platform, services and features you use.

PLAYER AND PLATFORM INFORMATION

On Android, the Game may access your Google Play Games player ID, display name and authentication status. This information may be used for platform features, existing Google Play leaderboards, support, player registration and mailbox messages.

On iOS, the Game may use an identifier generated specifically for Bricks Breaker RPG. Apple and Game Center may separately process information when their services are used.

Platform account identifiers are not displayed through our custom Firebase leaderboards.

FIREBASE AND ONLINE LEADERBOARDS

Bricks Breaker RPG uses Google Firebase, including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore and Cloud Functions, to provide online leaderboard and mailbox functionality.

When these features are enabled and you are signed in with an internet connection, the Game may generate a random private player ID, create an anonymous Firebase Authentication identity and assign a permanent server-generated leaderboard alias.

For leaderboard competitions, we may store your generated alias, private player ID, submitted score or completion time, rank, competition season, winner status, rewards and related timestamps. Qualifying scores may be submitted automatically when you complete the relevant gameplay activity.

The public leaderboard may show only your server-generated alias, score or completion time, rank, previous-winner status and associated in-game reward. It does not publicly display your platform ID, private game ID, Firebase Authentication ID, real name, email address or mailbox contents.

MAILBOX AND REWARDS

The online mailbox may store the player ID to which a message is addressed, its title and body, reward type and amount, claim status, mail identifier and timestamp. Messages may be addressed using a platform player ID or private Bricks Breaker RPG player ID.

GAME PROGRESS, TECHNICAL DATA AND ADVERTISING

Game progress is normally stored on your device and may also be stored using a supported platform cloud-save service. Save data may include progress, inventory, currencies, settings, generated identifiers, Firebase reconnection information and mailbox information.

The Game and its providers may process technical data required to operate and secure their services, including IP address, device and operating-system information, application version, request times, network information, diagnostics and interactions with online features.

Advertising services such as Google AdMob and configured mediation partners may process advertising identifiers, approximate location, advertising interactions and consent choices according to their own policies and your device settings. Purchases are processed by Google Play or Apple. We do not directly receive complete payment-card details.

USE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We may use information to:

Provide and maintain the Game and its online features.
Authenticate players.
Operate leaderboards, determine winners and issue rewards.
Generate safe player aliases.
Deliver mailbox and support messages.
Restore or synchronize supported progress.
Confirm purchases.
Provide customer support.
Improve stability and performance.
Detect and prevent cheating, fraud, abuse and technical problems.
Comply with legal obligations.

DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION

Information may be processed on our behalf by Google Firebase, Google Play Games Services, Google Play Billing, Google AdMob, configured advertising or mediation providers, Apple, Game Center and relevant hosting, security, diagnostics or support providers.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect WhimBear Studios Ltd or its players, investigate wrongdoing, prevent fraud or protect against legal liability.

We do not intentionally publish private player identifiers through the custom leaderboard.

SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information handled by the Game. Online requests use encrypted HTTPS connections and leaderboard administration and rewards are handled through server-side systems.

No electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

DATA RETENTION AND YOUR CHOICES

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Game, provide online features and rewards, answer support requests, maintain competition records, prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations.

Leaderboard records, aliases, winner records and mailbox messages may remain on Firebase after a competition ends. Information held by platform providers is retained according to their policies.

Custom leaderboard participation requires a supported sign-in state and internet connection. Players who are offline or not signed in cannot participate.

DATA DELETION

Uninstalling the Game or clearing Google Play Games data does not automatically delete Firebase leaderboard, mailbox or authentication records.

To request deletion, email contact@whimbearstudios.com with the subject BRICKS BREAKER RPG DATA DELETION and include your private Bricks Breaker RPG/Firebase player ID where possible.

We aim to process verified requests within 30 business days.

Some limited information may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution purposes.

CHILDREN, POLICY CHANGES AND CONTACT

We do not knowingly request that children provide their real name or email address for the custom leaderboard. The leaderboard uses a server-generated alias instead of a freely entered player name.

We may update this policy when the Game, online services, legal requirements or our practices change. The Last updated date will be changed when updates are made.
